Our Sunday morning service is at 11.00am, and our Sunday evening service is at 6.30pm.
Our prayer meetings and home groups are also meeting as usual.
At Oakwood we have various activities for children and young people. Groups for primary & junior school aged children – Acorn Club and Twigs – and for older teenagers meet during the morning service. Tetris, for secondary school aged children, meets on Sunday afternoon, at 4pm, either at the church or in people's homes, as announced. We encourage all our children and young people to study the word of God and learn to be a model to others.
During the morning service, a crèche for babies and pre-school children is available. A crèche can be provided for other meetings if necessary.
Listen out to the notices on Sunday morning for information about the Hare Street ladies meeting.
Most of us find that we can enjoy closer and more meaningful fellowship with people in a smaller group. Oakwood's home groups exist to serve this purpose, and also to provide an environment in which we can share, study the Bible, and pray in a more informal way. We encourage everyone to join our home groups.
We meet in people's homes at 7.00pm on Tuesday for prayer, 6.00pm on Friday for fellowship.
We meet at the chapel at 9.00am for prayer.
