Face-to-face events at Oakwood chapel  are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. Please see this letter from our Elders for more information.

Now that the lockdown is easing, we hope to resume in-person meetings as soon as possible. It would be very helpful if you could complete the questionnaire below. Your answers will help guide us as we plan how to restart our in-person services safely.

We believe the Bible is the Word of God, and that it should determine all that we do.

No in-person meetings at the church until further  notice

We will be streaming our morning service here, at 11am on Sunday. Our evening service, prayer meetings and home groups have moved to Zoom for the time being. Contact us for themeeting details.

Youth Ministry

At Oakwood we have various activities for children and young people can study the word of God and learn to be a model to others.

During the morning service, there is a crèche for babies and children aged four or under. If necessary, a crèche can be provided for other meetings.

Women's ministry

No Hare Street ladies meeting at the moment, due to Coronavirus restrictions

Home ministry

Most of us find that we can enjoy closer and more meaningful fellowship with people in a smaller group. Oakwood's home groups exist to serve this purpose, and also to provide an environment in which we can share, study the Bible, and pray in a more informal way. We encourage everyone to join our home groups.
